i will try this i've put new glow plugs in replaced the power lead going to the relay and a new lead going to each glow plug. My 300tdi lost power quite suddenly recently and fuel consumption went up from 9 liters/100 to nearly 14. The relay is ok and all associated fuses are intact. Seems to be getting worse . Car won't start, no crank, no noise, no lights, no clock just nothing.
